Why are D3 and K2 taken together?
Vitamin D3 increases the level of calcium in the blood by stimulating its absorption in the intestine. However, without K2, calcium can be deposited not only in the bones, but also in the walls of blood vessels. Menaquinone-7 (MK-7) activates proteins that "direct" calcium into bone tissue and teeth, keeping it away from soft tissues.
This is why the combination of D3 + K2 MK-7 is considered a more balanced approach compared to taking D3 alone - especially at dosages of 2000 IU and above.
Who is the 5000 IU format suitable for?

How to take
