Auto Runtz

Auto Runtz by Cartel Seeds is an autoflowering hybrid with Zkittlez x Gelato genetics that features a rich sweet profile with notes of tropical fruits, berries and creamy candies. This is one of those strains where the aroma and taste truly live up to its name: sweet, fruity, with a soft creamy depth.

Genetics and character of the variety

Auto Runtz is a cross between two iconic lines: Zkittlez with its bright fruit-berry profile and Gelato with its creamy, dessert base. The autoflowering format adds photoperiod independence to this combination, making the strain suitable for a variety of growing conditions.

The plants grow to a medium height - more compact than typical photoperiod hybrids, but well developed enough to form dense inflorescences. The cycle from germination to harvest takes 9-11 weeks.

Aromatic and flavor profile

Auto Runtz has a distinct sweet character with multiple layers: tropical fruits and berries first, then a creamy note that resembles dessert candy. The profile is complete and well-balanced - without the harsh or grassy accents often found in autoflower lines.

It is this combination - the sweetness of Zkittlez and the creaminess of Gelato - that makes Auto Runtz recognizable among varieties with a dessert profile.

Type and classification

Auto Runtz is an autoflowering hybrid. The Auto in the name means that the plant will flower automatically, regardless of the length of daylight. This distinguishes it from photoperiodic versions of Runtz, which require a change in light regime to start flowering.

A hybrid species combines the characteristics of both parental lines without a clear dominance of one of them.
