Trainwreck Reg

Trainwreck is one of those strains whose reputation has been built over decades. The triple genetics of Mexican, Thai and Afghan lines give this hybrid a character that is hard to confuse with anything else. Cartel Seeds have kept the regular shape to keep the genetics as close to the original as possible.

Trainwreck's aromatic profile is built on contrast: sharp lemon and pine resin next to warm spicy notes and an earthy sweetness at the base. It's not a monotonous scent - it unfolds gradually and keeps your attention from the beginning of flowering to harvest.

Genetics and origin

The three geographical lines in the strain make different contributions. The Mexican and Thai branches are responsible for the sativa component - elongated growth, open structure and long aromatic development. The Afghan line adds density, resistance and shortens the overall cycle to an acceptable 8-10 weeks of flowering for a photoperiod hybrid.

Regular type means that the seeds produce both female and male plants in a natural ratio. This is important for those who work with their own selection or want to preserve genetics through pollen.

How Trainwreck Reg differs from feminist versions

Feminized versions of Trainwreck are more convenient for those who want guaranteed female plants without selection. The regular version from Cartel Seeds is focused on a different scenario: working with a living gene pool, the ability to cross and preserve the line. If the goal is exclusively a harvest without selection work, the feminized version is more practical. If genetic diversity or your own crossbreeding program is important - regular seeds offer more opportunities.

Seed storage

Seeds are stored in a dark, dry place at a stable temperature. Sudden changes in humidity and temperature reduce germination. The original Cartel Seeds packaging protects against light and mechanical damage during transportation.
