Zkittlez

Zkittlez by Cartel Seeds is a feminized indica-dominant strain with Grape Ape and Grapefruit genetics. It is this cross that gives the strain its recognizable sweet profile: grapes, ripe berries, tropical fruits and a fruity candy sensation in the aroma of the plant during flowering.

Genetics and origin of the variety

Zkittlez is based on two parent strains with a strong fruity heritage. Grape Ape conveys a dense indica structure and grape-berry notes, Grapefruit adds citrus freshness and a tropical component. The result is a strain with a multi-layered aromatic profile, where the sweetness is not monotonous, but gradually revealed.

Indica dominance is evident in the compact, medium-sized plants and dense inflorescence formation during flowering.

Aromatic profile and what is behind it

The name Zkittlez is not just a marketing ploy. The strain truly captures a complex fruit palette: grapes and berries from Grape Ape, citrus-tropical notes from Grapefruit, and an overall sweetness that has been compared to fruity candy. This profile is maintained consistently thanks to feminized seeds - all plants in a batch develop according to the same genetic program.

Why feminized seeds?

Zkittlez feminized seeds produce exclusively female plants, simplifying space planning and eliminating the need to determine gender early on. For those growing a limited number of plants, this is a practical advantage: every seed is used in its entirety.

Zkittlez in the Cartel Seeds line

Cartel Seeds positions Zkittlez as one of the varieties with a pronounced fruity identity. Its medium height and 8-9 weeks of flowering make it predictable in planning the season. Among the brand's indica-dominant varieties, Zkittlez stands out precisely for its combination of sweet berry and tropical aromas - without the harsh resinous or earthy notes characteristic of classic indica.
